XP<Vista<8<7<8.1

I still hate the search menu in 8.1 though, it was wayyy easier to find things with the windows 7 version.

In my personal experience

8,1>8>Vista>Win95>Win98>XP>Win2000>THE MIGHTY SEVEN>robolinux

(8 and 8.1 are at the very bottom because of major connection issues. Never had that with the others)

I've only used 7 and Vista if we're talking XP and newer. Prefer 7.

8>7>vista>xp

Yes I like vista more than xp. I use the windows key>type to search thing allot and like to have clean/empty desktop look. XP's navigation is just way too slow after I've gotten used to vista if I don't use the mouse.

<Best>

8.1

7

Vista

XP

<Worst>

Considering I love the Start screen and the speediness of 8 over everything it wins. 7 is close, and Vista is so close to getting 2nd it's stupid. However, WMP 11, no support for Office 2013, and what ever version of DirectX that it can support kinda knock it down a touch.

Maybe he never used an os older than xp for an extensive period of time like i did, i do prefer vista to xp because of all the features that bring and the more modern look. Don't get me wrong XP was an awesome OS but vista was at least a change, The same with 7 and 8/8.1. And i do like changes, unlike most people.

I don't hate XP. We just couldn't rate anything older than it. I still like it (I use it a ton still).
