Cannot send message

Browser, version and OS: 

Firefox 111.0.1 windows 11

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

I went to profile page and clicked message button and wrote message

 

What happened?

I tried to send message and I got error saying ""username" cannot recieve message"

 

What did you expect to happen?

for the message to be sent

Does this mean I could be ignored? I understand that if I was ignored its not meant for me to able to know but I feel like if I was ignored the message would just look to me like it went through anyway and the person I am sending it to won't see it.

 

If it's a cloudflare error, what was the ray ID from the bottom of the error page?

It means they've disabled messages and can only send them to other users.

@oali24just sent you a test message, it went through.
So either something on your side, or messaging was temporarily unavailable / disabled.

Edit: got your reply, seems to be working fine now.

Already called it. The member they are trying to reach has turned off PMs.

Ah, my bad. 

I thought by "they" he meant forum owners or administrators.
