Does this Laptop Color Seem Misleading?

Am I nitpicking, or does this seem misleading for Lenovo to use pictures like this?

The product page photos of this laptop, Slim 7 14 on lenovo's website showed a darker grey colored keyboard. But when It arrived, the whole keyboard is just the same bright silver like the rest of the laptop. It reminds me of the silver on cheap entry level laptops.

Left is product photos, the right is the actual laptop.   YES I searched all over for videos and pictures of the laptop in real life. All the review of it were done in storm grey or Slate Grey, there were none done in this color which is Cloud Grey.

Always look at the product out in the open not stock photos taken or rendered under certain lighting etc.

I do notice that the keys on the product page have white lettering whereas the actual one has black lettering.

This would be "misleading" in the most broad possible sense of the word. I'd say it's closer to a nitpick, but the page does clearly differ from your model in this way. I'm guessing that if you want to return it on these grounds, you'd be allowed to depending on what region you're in.

Personally, I'm far more offended by the stickers all over the real unit, and the idea that laptop speakers could meaningfully output Dolby Atmos.

nope, they just have a bunch of gloss filter on the chassis, that didnt come out on the keyboard for whatever reason.

also, if the color of a laptop is a very important aspect, you should just generally look up more imagery of a laptop, because the marketing shots are rarely an accurate representation of realistic lighting conditions.

I tried! Searched every youtube video, and everything that came up was either Slate Grey, or Storm Grey. Could not find this laptop of this color on any pictures of videos. Any reviews of it were in a different color.

I have a similar Lenovo, and the legend is "translucent" for the backlighting. I assume the legend looks black against the silver (my Lenovo is the dark grey color and shows up as "white" in both cases).

do the keys light up? it looks like the promo shot has white led on the key labels.

TBH in my opinion they do not really look any different. Not discounting what you see at all though.
