3600x running hot.

I suspect it’s my case tbh, I have an NZXT case with shit airflow to the point of the tempered glass panel getting noticeably warm at times.

Especially if you are cooling the AIO with warm case air.. does not help at all. I always blame permeation because it’s easy, and it’s how mine eventually died.

What are the temps when you leave the side panel open?

I get the same temps as you with a 3600. While folding(on load) I get 85C and at idle my core temps are 36C. That is while I have an ac unit on my wall blowing hot air down. Without the hot air I get 76C on load. I use an open air setup with a Noctua C14.

I have some thermal paste and a spread on the way. Gonna reseat the AIO and go from there. Hopefully later down the line I’m planning to get a new case with a 3 fan front layout and better airflow.

To those following waiting for an update I repasted and did a clean out of my PC including the radiator which was FILTHY. My idle temp is now 30-35 and my cpu boosts 200mhz higher then it did before.

Cinebench temps stayed below 70C and scored an 8758 multi core.

that's literally all it probably is...

as has been already said your temps aren't great but still ok.

simply get a better case to improve that (with a front mesh panel)
