Upgrade my i9-9900k z390 3080Ti? with a BF deal?

Should I upgrade my i9-9900k z390 3080Ti for something that won't break the bank on this glorious black friday weekend? I try to follow advice videos but it's difficult due to so many variation combos and myself being a rookie. I'm playing AC Valhalla.

There really isnt many good deals honestly for CPU+Mobo+Ram stuff that youd actually want. The obvious upgrade would be for a 13700k or 13900k since it seems you seem to go high end. But those just came out a month and a half ago so i dont expect them to drop much in price. Id wait a while as your system should still be fine.

If you got money to spend, I'd take anything over my 9900k. 12th or 13th gen. But isnt a good enough deal for the kind of board I'd like.

Thanks for the input.  I'm not disenchanted with the answer as I figured maybe pulling the trigger is not the best time.  I dont keep on top of things though.

I think your cpu is bottle necking your gpu.

You have 2 realistic options:

-Either A 13600k with a Z690. This is a solution that does not break the bank, but does not bring much in terms of upgradeability in the future.

-Or a 7600x wth a B650 board and DDR5 memory. A lot more expensive, but the AM5 platform runs up to 2025, meaning your future upgrade costs will be limited to a cpu drop in.

Microcenter near?  If not, then the advices above suffice.

If so, they have a few deals worth looking at.

You bought a 3080ti so not breaking the bank has different meanings for you.  What's your budget?

AC Valhalla (and mostly Anvil-based games) just run like poop on Nvidia graphics cards.

No micro nearby.  Heh yes I broke the bank on the GPU for sure.  I might take a mulligan on that one because I don't usually do that high end purchase being a casual gamer.  I havent thought of budget TBH.  I'm one of the dummies who might like to keep my DD4 but get a mobo cpu for a small boost if a solution works.
