Noctua d15 and rtx 4090 vertical mount

EdMetal

Is there a case that can accomodate a noctua d15 and an RTX 4090 mounted vertically?

I have a be quiet dx500, but as you can see from the pic, it is so close to the rx 6800 I have, a 4090 wouldn't fitIMG_20221026_155426.thumb.jpg.725f49e9a760237cc4758d4de4478e8b.jpg

No. Such case doesn't exist. If you want to vertically mount you need an AIO on the cpu

You could check the width of the AK-620?  It might be a bit narrower, and may give enough clearance?  But with air cooling, it'll be TIGHT.

I think so. I have seen plenty of 4090s vertically mounted on reddit, albeit with an AIO on the cpu.

I guess I am gonna be forced to go with something like the thermaltake divider 200 tg. Being horizontal I should not have the issue i am having right now

Yeah, I recently bought the d15 specifically to avoid using one. I don't like the idea that, even if miniscule, there is a chance of it leaking and shorting everything, especially now that I want to invest into a 2k €€€ gpu

I was thinking the same, but I don't have any "real" info about it. Are you sure?

Oh, I didn't read your message well. Yeah, side-mounting it would be an option, even though I don't love the look. I guess it would be possible to mount it vertically if I don't use the bottom fans though..

Having it vertically mounted so it blasts the fin stack with its exhaust seems a little counter productive.
