NZXT releases "Special Edition Colors" H440's

With its modern design and bold engineering, the H440 has quickly become an NZXT fan favorite. Now, we’re happy to announce the availability of three new special edition colors: Black/Blue, Black/Green and Black/Orange.

Each color is available exclusively through three different channels. The Black/Blue may be found on the NZXT Armory Store, the Black/Green may be found at Microcenter and the Black/Orange can be purchased from Newegg.

 

LOVE to see this come to market, but as quoted above, they have specific retailers only in the US.

 

I'm about to do a blue/black themed build and dat blue H440 would be absolutely perfect, but not sure how long it'll take for it to get to Australia  :wacko:

 

Nonetheless, awesome new refreshed cases. Also, if I did anything wrong, please don't hesitate to correct me, as this is my first time posting in this subform

Well on the NZXT website it was meant to be announced at 12pm here in Australia, but the link was broken for an hour or so, and no one else had posted it, so I thought eh what the hell

Are they? I mean I get decent speed on virgin media (150mb/s) but there are places with faster

does anyone else not like NZXT's color choices on the H440

 

it's like they're choosing from a cheap pastel color palette. the Red on the H440 was such a flat and bright red, it emphasized it's plastic construction. these "special edition" colors have the same effect (if not worse)

 

no deep or interesting colors to enhance the look. it's like they only had the basic colors of MS Paint to choose from. "you want a color? here's ____"

Wow, I was hoping that we could customize the color, not choose from what retailer for the color we want..

Also from their color-changing teaser I was expecting an LED-based color change, Bitfenix Colossus style.

yes we are unlimited here for a much lower price, many high end packages in USA are limited which is out right shameful in this day and age.

No thanks.  White will do for me.  But, it's cool to see offerings in other colors.  I wish more companies did that.  I hate seeing product limited to one random color.

These are ugly, what were you even thinking, NZXT? You should have offered the extra trim colours on the white version. White + red trim, white + purple trim, white + light blue trim, white + mint green and the list goes on... Come on..as an artist, you're making me want to headface a desk. Bright colours on a dark background is a gaudy contrast. (not nearly as bad as rainbow stripes on black, but close enough)

 

Okay, on their own, they look decent. But that lineup..blue, orange and green..those colours clash so bad when put next to each other in that order.

They're looking pretty good IMO. If I were to choose any of those colours it would have to be the orange but I do also like the blue. PC Case Gear, here in Australia, have them available for preorder.
