I see so many good cases that I'll never be able to get because I need 1x 5.25" bay for my BD burner (which is kind of sad as I don't need 3.5" and soon 2.5" mounts).

I really do agree with the pop. I suggested it to @An0maly_76a while ago, they seem to like the case. I swapped to the XL when I went water cooling. I didn't realize how much space the case had until I had my pump/res on my 4090 while waiting for the water block to show up.

In the XL I get away with 4 fans. 3 front intake, 1 rear intake and no fans on the 280mm rad. Even with the passive airflow through that second rad my 4090 hardly gets above 70c except for when it's folding, then it sits around 75 and my 6800xt was closer to 80/85.

Before the 4090 waterblock.

The rag was there for while I was filling. Didn't completely trust one of the lines. It was a very temporary hardline set up.

I can't seem to find pictures of it with the 4090 water cooled. I know I have them on my phone, but I'm underground at work and don't have a way to upload from my phone.

The Pop series does have 2 5.25 bays though. If size is a concern, there's the Pop Mini Air which is mATX, but supports a 170mm cpu cooler and a 365mm gpu.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

If I ended up doing a custom loop, I'd just go back to the behemoth that is the Aerocool XPredator Evil Black (fans 1x 230mm front, 1x 230mm top, 1x 140mm front and bottom, 200mm side) - it is fine with 10 slot motherboards. I'll look at reviews for the standard ATX case as that'd be the particular size I'm after. My 6700XT isn't that big and I only have the Noctua NH-12S (so much easier to cool a 3700X than 4.6GHz 4790K).

Just got done with my setup.

I still have flooring to do. My pig and a pipe leak ruined the old carpet. She likes to chew...

Custom floating desk, seamless transition from wall to desk.

Cables in wall. Added new circuit and outlets for this and my network rack. Ran single outlet jumper circuit from UPS for PC, no its not using a suicide cord.

Build:

EVGA FTW3 Ultra Rtx 3080 ti

32 gb 3600 mhz corsair ram
