Is the QLogic QLE2562 a Network or Storage card?

That's a Fibre Channel card, so... both!

So in a server i bought there where 2 QLogic QLE2562 and they look like the network things from ltt's server videos.

The case is used for Fibre channel, It's used for SAN storage. You'd usually connect to a fibre channel switch like this one and then you'd have other devices connected to the same switch.

can i also just directly connect one card to another?

Not exactly.

It's a storage card, it doesn't do Ethernet frames like a standard 10Gb NIC and will NOT work with a normal switch nor can it be used to connect two hosts.
