VRAM usage slider is slightly under half. You're using slightly less than half of the VRAM of a 16gb card.

Without more information, everything looks correct.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Sorry guys I wrote a big description of the issue but it didn't send. No my card is an 8gb. The issue is this game is using all my VRAM after some patch and I've done a lot of things to try and fix it but nothing worked. I cannot be bothered rewriting what I original was going to post.

Seems okay to me.  Looks like a lot of high and very high graphic settings, so I would expect a lot of vram usage. If all we're allowed to go on is a couple of screen grabs and "it uses all my vram", that's pretty much all I have.

OK so the issue with this is my card is a 3060ti which has 8gb VRAM. This game use to only use half of that as shown in the screenshot with the settings, but ever since the recent patch it has started using all my VRAM. The game will start using 5gb just on the title screen alone and then it climbs to 7gb+ in a game. Starts to show artifacts then it crashes. my setup is more than capable to run this game and has no issues running more demanding games which use less VRAM. I contacted Blizzard regarding this issue and they told me to delete my drivers and do a fresh install (which I did). It didn't fix the issue. I checked MSINFO and DXDIAG which showed no issues with my hardware. I have tweaked my settings in NVIDIA control panel for optimal performance which did nothing, I have updated my OS which did nothing, I have background apps closed which does nothing. I wrote a long extensive description that didn't post and I cannot be bothered rewriting it so sorry if this is vague.
TLDR: This game requires 4-5gb VRAM but is using all my VRAM which is 8gb.

My Specs are:

OS: Windows 11
Mobo: Gigabyte UD AX DDR4 Z690
CPU: i5 12600k
GPU: GIGABYTE RTX 3060 Ti VISION OC Rev. 2.0
RAM: 8gbx4 Corsair Vengeance 3600 (OC)
PSU: RM750X
SSD: Samsung 980 Pro
Monitor: 144hz 1440p 27inch curved.

Is there any tangible problem this causes? Does your frame rate go down? 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Frames only drop when the artifacts begin to show.

IMHO it's the game engine itself. Especially since you said :

So it's possible that there's a bug they haven't fixed (or fixed it then broke it again somehow).
Not the first and won't be the last company that achieves this kinda thing though.

Can you describe or post a photo of the artifacting?- Black squares that do not fit in with the picture which causes me to lose over 90 frames.

 

Do any other games max out your VRAM? No not even close.- Like I said this game never use to do that and even it's on in-game settings says it uses less than half of my total VRAM.
