The absolute fastest ambient cooled gaming pc

if were talking absolute fastest gaming pc then that would just be cpu + gpu oced w ln2 on a testbench, basically 6.9ghz cpu but with gpu also under ln2

For absolute fastest dailyable gaming pc that would be cooled under 2 stage cascade phase change for both cpu and gpu, though single stage would be more practical cause power draw and cost

Well atleast its being overclocked and not wasting performance potential esp out of expensive hardware so approved

Exploiting noobs much??? Serious OCers will be laughing their asses off at this as will those who can build a custom water-cooled rig capable of running 24/7. And I'm not necessarily blaming Allen here, but let's face the truth - it's hard economic times right now and GPU's are still a challenge to source, never mind trying to find 2-4 identical ones. My guess is Ironside has a horse in this race too if you cannot even divulge the price this thing is going for LOL

Let's rewind the clock say 5 years - you could get a full DIY Case Labs build with a horizontal mobo and full water cooling. Binned processors were always a thing so that's not adding anything new here. Water cooling the GPU also showed which ones had the headroom to be pushed higher. Obviously you wouldn't want to ship something the size of a bar fridge that's pushing 74+ lbs - the idea here was you got the same high end gear and put it all together yourself... and got BETTER performance than any pre-built. My system can run full tilt doing F@H in a 34C room... and stay QUIET - I doubt any of Splave's secret sauce will make his box do the same!!! Some of us admittedly live in places around the world where summer is pretty much 6 months of the year, can get excruciatingly hot at times and air conditioning is not a thing, yet we still want to enjoy our PC's.

I seriously hope your upcoming LTT "labs" will accommodate proper ambient temperature testing, because while your fine Canadian derriere may get to enjoy sitting in a comfortable 19C room/office, many PC users in the real world DON'T!!!

So yes, good job Ironside teaming up with a world class overclocker - you've made a product perfectly tailored to those who have more money than brains 🤣🤣🤣

Alex says its doing better 'marginally' or something like that.

This speaks to the overall trend that OC is increasingly being worth less and less.  Add to that so much tinkering was done with the CPU and most of that tinkering worthless with more gamers moving to 4k (where it is almost 100% GPU, you could run a ryzen 3600).  And even if not, do you really care about getting 300 vs 400 FPS in doom eternal or CSGO at 1080p  (seriously...why are these still benchmarked)

You used to be able to get more out of a CPU/GPU through tuning.  They now ship running much closer to maxxed out.  Which is good for the average consumer.  Not as fun for the tinkerer.  LN2 guys can get a bunch more out of it.  And nowadays, even full liquid cooled systems main benefit is the silence.

El Zoido:  9900k + RTX 4090 / 32 gb 3600mHz RAM / z390 Aorus Master

The Box:  3900x + RTX 3080 /  32 gb 3000mHz RAM / B550 MSI mortar

Actually that cooler isn't bad, I have one and it's shown itself capable of handling some decent heatloads BUT that's only if it's a chip with a larger lid/surface area such as a Threadripper chip. With a standard Ryzen chip it doesn't work as well but it's still good enough it does keep up with alot of AIO's anyway.
In the end it's still aircooling but at least it has the reliablity of an aircooler because that's what it is.

The REAL issue I'd have is it being mounted horizontally, it's a heavy cooler so any real bumps, jars or whatever to the system may cause it to rip out the socket!
Best used with a system that has the board lying down inside instead to avoid the possibility of this happening.
Got mine for about $160 shipped but that was over a year ago, no doubt it's higher in price these days.

All the rest is fine too but you really have to ask yourself - Do you NEED something with the price tag this will have?
That's a question I can only answer for myself and it's the same for everyone else.

Splave just gives PCs a stern look and they run 2% faster.

Gee - I have to settle for .5% but I'll take whatever I can get.

Allen is not to be underrated, I've gone up against him and we've beaten each other back and forth a few times but he clearly holds the advantage in most anything we could do.
As for me, I'm more of a specialist in certain things but only that, hence the .5% I get.

Yea $12,000 to have the privilege of seeing a BSOD without you doing nothing at all (all the 3,4 knobs and bottons pushed to risk the same instability have been done by others lol)
