Sennheiser IE 100 PRO WIRELESS is this legit?

mikeschua1996

Hi I saw someone selling in FB marketplace a pair of IE100 pro Wireless for Php 5,000($95.50)
Brandnew it would cost me like Php 11,000($210)

Is there a way to verify if it's legit. I asked the seller for a pic of the serial number it's SN0360010076

There's no reason the believe it isn't legit. Don't be surprised pre-owned items are cheaper than new, that's a reasonable price deduction.

Also, don't you go meet the guy if it's on Facebook marketplace? Normally you'd only ask for verification if it's going to be paid for digitally, and then shipped out to you. If you can physically go and see it for yourself, that makes no sense.

Btw, what're we supposed to do with a serial number? Use some top-secret serial number lookup to verify they are real and actually for sale? Go look! Lmao.

Senhiser products have a shiny holagram sticker on the box. It will be on the verticle side of the IE100s.
Comparing the bottom of my box to his looks good

Not worth the effort at this point, buy something else. It's not a good IEM to begin with. Sennheiser has one good IEM, and it's the IE600. The rest just have a gaping hole in the midrange, which the IE600 was the first to fix.

Just get a Moondrop Aria and call it a day. Too much work is going into verifying a sub-par product.
