6+2 psu pin into rx580

Hi there just got an rx580 and want to ask can this be connected to it and what should I do with the other side. I'm worried to do with electrical hazards as the other piece wouldn't be connected to anything else. I am not trolling I just want some yes or no thanks guys.

Your question is very unclear. How many power connector pin sockets does the card have? Six or eight or more?

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

I think he wants to know if the spare PCIE Power cable leftover is a danger hanging free against something..

Ive never encountered any issue but thats because it hangs free in the air not touching anything.

Can always wrap it in electrical tape I suppose.

the 6+2 pin connector can go into the RX 580, and the remaining 6+2 pin connector can hang free. The metal contacts inside are recessed so that they can't touch anything.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B
