Can I get a quote on a polished all aluminium machined body for it? With some LEDs and shit. /joke

As tight as that sounds, I feel the need to "earn" it. i.e. work and save up or stock trade and save up. We'll see. But I like the sound of that. An all aluminium body mouse sounds great. Particularly if polished with white LEDs. Mhmmm.

doable? probably, Recently someone was selling sensors but i have not actually seen a mouse made with them. Best bet would be to start with a mouse already made for the electronics and make a shell around it. I have been wanting to make a mouse to match my keyboard in style for a bit now but it would have been a really simple mouse lol

So here's what I'm thinking.

G502 Proteus Core internals. Remove Blue LEDs and replace with White ones. Recreate the mouse's housing in Aluminium, sans the G logo and the DPI lights and such. Make textured buttons. Where the G logo was, put whatever logo I'd want (I'd have to come up with something) and the DPI lights would be something else too (I'm thinking arrows atm, but that one is up in the air).

Like, it's polished where your palm would be, but it slowly gradients to a texture where you would click. Kind of a weathered look in a way. 

Do without the weird indention along the center of the palm. The black line that wraps around the G here. Just none of that. 

I imagine that'd be difficult as curvature and it isn't simple box shapes. Best way would be with a 3D printer and that imaging equipment or wtv they use to take a 3D object and put it in a computer program. 

Oh well. Sounds cool but probably not worth it atm. Maybe one day. I'm mostly posting this for later reference when I may or may not feel the need to do this.

... maybe anodized silver (would you even need to do that to aluminium? I'd imagine so to prevent actual weathering).

I think you would do clear anodizing or clear powder coating as for the rest of it I only own a manual mill so nope lol

Great special effects, straightforward and slightly clunky narrative like the original, but like the original that's to its benefit (since it's more fun and exciting that way). I can't say that I'm floored by it like so many others, but I found it at least as fun as the last fun film I watched, Guardians of the Galaxy (I don't watch films much anymore).
