Rhys320

With the rtx3090 being almost imposible to get, what is everyones recommendation?

Go with the Zotac gaming rtx3090.

Go with a ROG rtx 3080.

Or go with a Gigabyte rx 6900 xt.

Any and all opinions excepted

Sell my kidney and get 3090.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

What resolution and what frame rate? This is going to depend on the monitor.

"High settings" doesn't mean much here without knowing that.

ask me about my homelab

on a personal quest convincing the general public to return to the glory that is 12" laptops.

cheap and easy cable management is my fetish.

What resolution do you plan on playing at? What is the cost of the 6900xt and the 3080? Depending on that and what you plan to do with it the 6900xt might make more sense than a 3080 if the prices are close.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

It would ideally run 4k at 150fps, that seems to be whats achievable 6900 and 3080 are almost the same price

You'll probably want the 3080 then. They kind of go back and forth and are very similar. The 3080 will have more features though. RTX and DLSS. If you want to use Ray Tracing, the 3080 is the easy pick.
