I love that store. Wish we had something like that here where I live.

Also while that was a fun build, it was kinda painful to see that nice hardware go into a case with such bad airflow.

I miss Fry's - that was my chill zone for all things electrical and PC. I cannot even count how much stuff I bought from them over the last 20 years, from PC gear to zip ties, flash lights, laptops, drives, cameras, tool kits, headphones, monitors, coolers, cables, bags, networking gear to some really weird stuff I didn't even know I needed until I saw it. Then again I'm being incredibly biased since there were probably 4-6 Fry's locations all within an hours drive for me - if I couldn't find something at one store I'd pick it up in another. Handy as well when you absolutely needed something right away and couldn't wait for stuff to get shipped. They even price matched with their competitors so you knew you weren't getting screwed over like at Best Buy.

Micro Center are a joke. They have ONLY ONE location in all of California and the 1-2 times I have gone there they either didn't have what I was looking for or ended up overpaying. Worse, I had to open their credit card to get any deal they advertised on high ticket items and their return policy is nowhere near as good as the one Fry's offered. They are just unimpressive. Noobs who don't know better will be happy there. I'm not giving them my money.

And maybe that's why they closed. Perhaps some business model ain't as sustainable.

cool project for sure. I miss my old antec 300 sleeper build sometimes. Thing wasn't like 70+ pounds unlike my current rig. Waterloops are heavy yo

I liked this one, but it wasn't as emotional as the first $20 PC.

A video about a store I have no access to. After 5 minutes of deciding what to buy in this sponsored store that offers so much stuff, I lost interest in whatever pretence there was for this video.

Is there a reason the video was the length it is? It sort of feels like a lot of things that could have been interesting had been cut out and the part about the person finding it sort of felt like an afterthought.

I mean it was still interesting to see the PC being build but it just didn't feel like a complete video to me.

There aren't many subjects that benefit from binary takes on them in a discussion.
