just take the shroud off,  4 screws holding the heatsink to the card dont need to be removed so you dont need to repaste it. Dont paint the fan or PCB though

Hello! I am trying to get an all white build. Is there any way I can spraypaint a gpu without damaging it?

 

It would most likely be a Gigabyte OC GeForce RTX 3070 8GB.

You could spray paint the shroud (plastic part) after removing it from the device, but I would not recommend it as it won't look very good.

GPU: Graphics processing unit. If you paint that and if it even runs afterwards, it will be a hot running graphics card.

 

Graphics card on the other hand, can be customized if you are ok with just painting coolers shroud and the visible side of backplate. Painting fans will result in them being unbalanced and a unbalanced 3K rpm fan not be fun to have or will last long.

Yeah, I honestly don't mind having black fans in a white build. As I am not really going to look at the fans.

I used an airbrush to paint the shroud and fans, works fine. Using an airbrush gets you a much smoother application of paint, than doing it by hand.
