Build-up in GPU block - should I be concerned?

Podgster

Hi all,

I finished my custom loop about 2 weeks ago and over the last 3 days I've noticed slight build-up of a white substance inside the GPU block (image attached).

Is this something I should be overly concerned about?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is normal as some amout of stuff will be left over from fabrication. I would take it apart and clean. But you could try rinse and repeat

GPU: Red Devil RX 7900XT | Sound: Odac + Fiio E09K | Case: Fractal Design R6 TG Blackout |Storage: MP510 960gb and 860 Evo 500gb | Cooling: CPU: Noctua NH-D15 with one fan

FS in Denmark/EU:

Asus Dual GTX 1060 3GB. Used maximum 4 months total. Looks like new. Card never opened. Give me a price.

Probably just some minor precipitate, if you are using a coolant with anticorrosives and biocide, I wouldn’t worry about it, probably will clean off just fine when you next open the block during maintenance.

One of my blocks has a fingerprint in it from the chinese guy who handled it.  The print lifted like CSI when they do the superglue thing.

TDLR it's impossibly difficult to get a loop that is crystal clear and flawless everywhere.  It doesn't affect performance.
