where to find cheap screen replacements

so i found a YOGA 920 that has a broken screen for sale, its pretty cheap however when i try to find a screen to replace its way tooo expensive, anyone know where i can find one for cheap?

so i see this and i think what if i fix the screen and i resell it for more... tho i dont realy know much.... well at least a bit.... so ok what caused this? can i fix it with a replacement? its a lenovo 920

edit: are they just a bunch of dead pixels and the screen needs to be replaced?

Looks like it's damaged beyond repair. Was it dropped or crushed?

Start with figuring out what its resale value is, then find out what the replacement screen costs to buy and add that to the amount you have to pay for the unit. If its not at least 30% profit to you then dont bother

alright thanks but what if it is beyond repair? i dont have a lot of cash to burn

Then don't buy it?

That's always a risk you take.

Seems it's working but the screen is cracked, so in theory if you can find the replacement screen it should be repairable.

You'll want to know that screen replacements on these modern laptops can be a massive pain since the whole thing is glued shut. Did a replacement on a similar HP and it was a nightmare, plus there were still issues with touch afterwards.
