Laser is actually an acronym: light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation. I had to look that up again since there is no way I would want to remember what laser stands for, but at least it's not like TNT which is one word: trinitrotoluene.

tomorrow for me or today for others is Thursday. Thursday is one day before the end of the typical work week. and according to WIKI when the USSR was thing thursday was fish day, a day where fish was served instead of meat at all nation foodservice places.
