Which one should I get out of those CPU's?

Hi,

Wich one is better?

i7 11700K or ryzen 9 3900XT?

I also have other options, That is i9 10900KF and i9 10850K. Wich one would you get? P.S. 10900KF is about 100USD higher than others, Others are same price.

P.P.S. There's no options in my country and for certain reasons I can't buy online, So help me choose from those.

Also, Is it okey to use old GTX 1060 before I'll get new GPU? Not a gamer, For 3D, Will it work okey?

Thanks a lot.

did you just use userbenchmark?

Usserbenchnmark is bullshit.

its litterally 99% single core, 1% multicore. Theres enough proof to prove that they are literally intel shills

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

I didn't trust userbenchmarks, That's why I'm asking here 😅

I'm really confused.

Do you know what your 3d work pushes more, one or all cores? (you can do this by checkign core usage on your current system, iuf all of them have high usage, then the 3900x , if only one core, the 11700k

or preferally, get the best of both worlds, a 5900x

I could use some help with this!

What can you say about i9 10900K? Unfortunately, Not even one shop sells 5900x here and I can't get it 😢

10850k 100%, at the same price. IMO avoid ryzen 3000 in a new system, they are no longer cheaper than 10th gen intel.

The only CPU tier list that makes sense for the price/performance:

10400(f),10700(f,k),10850k,5900x/5950x (go 11th gen if any are on sale/ or similar price to 10th gen in your area)

its hot, and slower than the 11700k for most thign, including multicore, even though its 10c vs 8c.

the 5900x is rarely in stock, but can saometimes be found on newegg and amazon.

no....

just.... no.

the 5600x, maybe the 3600x fit in there, as well as a 11400f, 11700k.

also teh 10400k isnt a thing.

the 11400f is a much higher value than a 10400f, same with 11700k vs 10700k.

you kinda ignored a whole price point, the 300$~ range, where the 5600x fits in well, as its faster than both the 10700k and 10400f

I could use some help with this!

@CryingWimp @HelpfulTechWizard

I don't live in USA. I could get it online, But it takes about 1 month to arrive here and I have to pay very expensive taxes 😅😅 So, 5900X would be out of my budget unfortunately.

I did find 5900X here on site like craigslist for my country and I might afford to buy it 😅 I'll call seller tomorrow, Because it's late night here now.

i7 11700K is 530 USD here and 5900X is 880 USD, Is it worth to buy for this price?

no, but if that 11700k prive is firm, and the 5900x isnt firm, you might be able to get it to the 700$ its much more sensable, but still a bad deal. id take a 3900x over it.

The 5600x is the most expensive 6 core in the world, so it doesn't really fit in well to a budget system. A 5800x is more expensive than a 10850k and the 10850k is faster.

Ryzen 3000 is no longer cheaper than 10th gen intel, and it has lower performance. So why not get 10th gen?

I also mentioned depending on prices in a specific region of 10th/11th gen get 11th gen.

People forget that only the Ryzen 9s are the fastest gaming CPU in the world, an intel I9 is faster than anything but a ryzen 9 for gaming.

If the only CPUs in the OP area at this budget are the 11700k,3900x,10850k all for the same price, if its a gaming PC the 11700k/10850k are objectively better. For a workstation its the 3900x/10850k, they trade blows in some things, but the 10850k will be way faster in singlecore workloads. IMO get the 10850k, easy win.

ok, it may be, but you make it to be a big deal. its a 300$ cpu, same launch price as a 3600x.

thats not true, a 5600x will tie a 10900k in gaming, beat it if you have pbo2.0 and a decent cooler. and a 5600x is certainly not a r9.

a 5800x will trade blows with a 11900k in most things.

but stop talking about gaming. op literally said:

Get a 10th gen i9 if those are your options.

Those are the fastest out of the bunch you listed.

Despite using that site, he's still right.

10th gen Intel 8 core is better at gaming and 3rd gen Ryzen 12 core is better for multi threaded workloads.

Though the i9s are nuclear reactors, get a good cooling solution for them like the nh d15 or dark rock 4 pro, ryzen is more efficient but if you are comapring it to 11th gen then it will be beaten in single core, though that can be fixed with overclocking xD

I don't really do much production stuff.. but I thought my 5600X was a really fun CPU to play with. It didn't really overclock past its 200MHz but it was an FCLK monster. I would not bother with 3rd gen Ryzen at all now at this point.. I had a really hard time selling a nearly new 3600XT.  5900X is a nice CPU. I would have no qualms running an Intel.. looking forward to seeing what's next from them.

i9-10850k gets my vote. Yes, it produces a lot of heat, but unlike Ruzen 5000 series it is very easy to cool. Remember to pair it with some fast memory to get the most out of it
