Why are open air cases so limited?

I've seen 4 types of open air/test bench cases/ frames. S-shaped steel frames on Etsy, pieces of cut acrylic called test benches, ungodly mining rigs, & lastly "bs stuck to a 3d printer frame.

Air their more types? Do they have a different name?

Should I just get some sheet metal & a drill & call the result a test bench?

more in that style, even crazier is on aliexpress, the chinese seem to be into this open air stuff big time…  admittedly limited, because  for some reason its hard to find, but i found this one (and similar ones)

Im not sure if this one qualifies, but its my favorite case fullstop. Also the manufacturer makes several other really nice cases.

Also I definitely recommend pink for the "Cougar" so good lol
