Is it posable to restore the health of a phone battery

i don't want to have to get a new battery if i dont have to is it possible to heal a phone battery (lithium ion) obviously

not really, better to just replace. you can probably change some settings on your phone to use less power though, unless you have already done that.

Not generally. LIon batteries have a finite lifespan, measured in charges/recharges IIRC, 

I have read some articles on how to prolong what you do have, but it's basically common sense stuff (dim screen, use airplane mode where possible, etc)

A replacement is the most reasonable option, and isn't too hard for quite a few devices. Just make sure to properly recycle your old one.
