Monitor with 0 blurry text

I am looking for the monitor which does not displays any blurry text on Windows 10. I am not a hardcore gamer but sometimes I do play mortal kombat and street fighter to relax. I am more of a reader. I like to code and use Linux in VMWARE.

My current monitor which is Dell 27inch has this issue. It shows blurry text and text is not crisp and sharp. 

 

Any recommendations?

depends on what is causing the blurry text.

 

is it ALL text that is blurred or just some windows/programs?

Have you tried adjusting ClearType Text?

I have followed the steps already to clear it:

 

Adjust clear type

Adjust resolution 

Increase current DPI to 125%

 

Eventually compromised with set scale setting to 125% but still not that clear.

What is your resolution of your display? Are you running at its native resolution

 

Set the scaling setting to 100%

Can you show a picture? Thats a 1080p 27in monitor, so pixels are gonna be pretty big.

as someone who uses a 1080p 27" the text is no where near anything close to "blurry" unless my nose is right up against the panel and i have to wear glasses

Oops. Is this could be an issue. Because yes, monitor is closer to me and I do wear glasses. What could be the solution to this.

 

Edit: Now the monitor is bit further away and text looks ok at 125% scaling. But lets say I want to buy new monitor, then which size and which specific monitor would you recommend.

If you sit close to it, just get a 4k monitor. The size comes down to personal preference

If this monitor is working correctly getting another wont help anything with the blurry text if we cant fix it now.
Even if the resolution is to low it will not look blurry but more 'blocky' anyway.

I agree with you and I understood one thing, the bigger the monitor, the further away it must be kept. Text looks blurry because it is kept closer and text will looks distorted and tattered. Dell screen looks brighter and I am looking for similar monitors because I am using it from some years and want to move to a new one. So please suggest brighter bigger 27 inch monitors. Thanks.

If that is what you see either the monitor is broken or there is a setting incorrectly set.
Or we have a failure to communicate.

Haha, I think communication is not an issue here.  I am coming from Windows 7 and this OS has never such issues of not clear or tattered text.

 

Even now this Dell monitor is placed it at a distance now , the entire screen looks dull like it is dying, just j/k. The colors are not sharp enough. Issue can be with Windows 10 and not with the monitor. Windows 10 has known issues with its DPI Scaling. I do not have any other monitor to test this.

1080p at 27" is quite bad really, I would not want to use that, too big pixels.

 

Windows can have scaling issues  with some software if you use something else than 100% or 200%, but it it mostly affects older program or installers and stuff.

27" at FHD has ~80-85ppi. That's ... bad. Okay for gaming, not okay for regular work. >100ppi should be the minimum imho especially if you get close, so that's at least 1440px (WQHD) with ~110ppi. 4k (UHD) would give you ~160ppi. All at 27".

 

While lower resolution can give you a perceived lack of sharpness, at the extreme it is mostly blocky (small text). If everything looks better when you go further away or increase scaling (assuming scaling works correctly) then you need a higher pixel density which in turn means higher resolution at the same display size.
