Doesn't matter. All the good ones are out of stock and will be for a looong time unless you get lucky

Nvidia:

3080 = best overall, ~102MH/s @240W

3090 = best density, but overheats easily and throttles, most cards require modding to achieve non-throttling operating temps, 125MH/s @340W

3060ti = best efficiency card, 61MH/s @120W

3070 = slightly behind 3060ti, 61MH/s @130W

3060 = no

AMD:

idk, most of them are 60MH/s i think, around 120-140W

edit: in ETH algo

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

This is pretty much the meta for ROI, but the 3080 is better in the long run. But consider trading coins instead of mining them, its also a good idea.

you also have to consider the overall cost of the rig as 3060ti density isnt great

plus the power draw from rest of the rig

yeap, this, unless you can get a GPU at MSRP

A 1050 ti should help you get started and shouldn't bottleneck your CPU or even a 1060

1050Ti hashrates are abominable for what it is, and 1060 barely scrapes by with the ballooning difficulties in ETH.

Your A10 is good enough, its all about the GPU speed. As long as it has enough pcie lanes, it should be all good.

if you can get your hands on a RX 5700XT or flash an XT bios onto a normal 5700 it mines quite well for the amount of power draw. i get 54mh/s on ETH and 27mh/s on RVN with one card.

But right now any card you can get your hands on is gonna be pretty good. my mining rig had 6x RX 570's getting 160mh/s on ETH

how about this

1x RX 570 4GB

1 motherboard AM4 or 1151

1 ram 8 GB
