Only being able to hear out of the left side of my headset

Hi, so today my headset I can only hear out of the left side, I’ve tried it with about 4 different types of headsets, any ideas on how to fix it?

Do you know if the port is mono or stereo?

When a music file is in mono, it means that there is just one channel. It doesn't mean that only one speaker will play sound, but it means that you will hear the same thing in both speakers.

When it's stereo, you can hear different sounds on the left and right speaker.

I have had this problem too on my monitor, which only outputs audio through one speaker, since the port (or the monitor software) only outputs audio to one of the two speakers.

What device did you conenct the headset to?

I seem to have fixed the issue, thanks for the help anyway.
