What's the oldest game you still play today?

Hah, seems I will place second on the list as far as chronological order of release date goes (after Pong).

Few days ago I just finished the very 1st Tomb Raider game (1996).

Actually after giving a 2013 version a shot I thought it's atrocious I still haven't played these games through so I bought all but the latest one on Steam on sale (cheap as heck) and am going through the whole series to create my own opinion on it.

Before that I only had a brief experience with Tomb Raider 2 years ago - you know, the one where you close a butler in the freezer :D.

Apart from that I also get back to HoMM 3 and Starcraft from time to time. Actually this thread just gave me an idea to introduce my kid to HoMM 3 and play a session with him :D.

Ironic this post is on top of the list given I'm here to ask for advice on getting old games Like Mercenaries 2: World in Flames and the KOTOR's to work because they crash on high refresh rate monitors, And said rate not being adjustable (Thanks Dell >_>)

 

Well of the oldest games I still play Morrowind comes to mind. Just did a play though not too long ago. Also on the Emu side I've played PS2 games like Dark Cloud and the Armored Core line recently too. Oh yea also can't forget the N64 Ocarina of Time xD

Well, if everyone's 'cheating', I'll do so too!  Oldest game I have in my rig, and play from time to time is Enclave (released in 2002), even runs nicely at 3840x1080 (how does such an old game support that format/aspect ratio?) with everything maxed out.

More recent, yet old: Minecraft (been playing since it's early days - in early 2010 I think, either Indev or Infdev version) - made my oldest son an addict - sorry son.

Here's a screenshot Enclave, much reduced in size of course, I find it amazing that such an old game as this scales nicely @ 3840x1080. UT3 scales badly, it looks like a regular 1920x1080 image stretched to fit 3840x1080, I play it at 1080P, meaning I'd have black columns on left and right sides, works well so I can't complain.

I also emulate some Mother III and Pokemon Red on the weekends.
