  1. Hey, so I have freesync enabled in both the radeon settings and in my monitor settings, yet I'm getting screen tearing, and when I turn on my monitors built in frame counter, it doesn't show that the display is having an adaptive framerate. My driver level is 21.6.2.
  2. Budget (including currency): up to $500 usd Country: united states Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: light gaming, school work Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Looking to get a 1080p display, a modern amd or intel processor with least 4c8t, at least 8gb of ram, at least 256gb of ssd storage, about 14 inchs from corner to corner (not display, just complete size o
  3. I'm just wondering what's going on, because their infomation on their website is from over a year ago.
  4. I'd probably pay $900-$1100. If you want about 3070 performance, you could go with an rx 6800, they go for somewhere between $1000 and $1200. rx 6700 xt are going for somewhere between $700 and $850. Nvidia prices remain high for ampere, last gen is going down in price.

    Does your monitor support it?
  6. What's wrong with spray lubing? Never heard of that
  7. I have a Corsair K68 cherry mx red keyboard, and I want to know how you would lube switches. I've only seen it done for custom keyboards, but is it possible for prebuilts? Also, would I have to desolder anything, because that is not something I'm comfortable with.
  8. lmao userbenchmark
  9. I believe that I found the issue. After removing my (light) cpu oc, I was able to get games to run without crashing. I think that I had 2 separate issues With single psu: gpu could not get enough power to fully utilize it's vram. Found this out by having furmark ROG crash when I started a cinebench run, and when shadow of the tomb raider worked when I used ultra ray tracing to make it gpu bound. With 2 psu: I think that the different 12v rails causes some issues, and that's why therte was a hard cap at 8gb usage. TLDR: don't buy
  10. Also, You could definately save a lot if you can get a gpu at msrp, but if not, then that gpu is a good choice
  11. I wouldn't go for that ram, it's only 2666 mhz CL16. Go for something that is 3200 mhz CL16 or higher
  12. yo for some reason 3d mark super position worked with 11gbs of vram used (I had to run it at 10k and extreme shaders to get this) For some reason doom eternal still crashed though I panic went to ebay and requested a return, and now I don't know it needs to be returned
  13. this was happening before I did this. I wonder if it might have been crashing because of power limitations.
  14. Card is running at stock speeds with no overclock or factory overclock
