Find cards? Probably a discord or youtube that tracks stock updates, have them alert you with new stock/ have something to track stock. Bestbuy is probably the best place to purchase cards if possible, they carry the most FE cards and release cards in pretty large batches, have decent anti-botting, and have good prices. When will prices go back to 'normal'?' My guess is around 8-12 months.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

Wait an unbearable amount of time, and your best bet to find a GPU is to look local for somebody that isn't fully aware of how jacked up the market is. Or like others have said get an push notif system for stock updates. 

Fuck you scalpers, fuck you scammers, fuck all of you jerks that charge way too much to tech-illiterate people. 

Unless I say I am speaking from experience or can confirm my expertise, assume it is an educated guess.

The madness will continue until there is a technology shift.  As long as it makes financial sense for miners to screw over gamers they will continue doing so.  This is the age of IDGAF.  Just wish there was a practical option available where the predators (price gougers/scalpers) weren't in such an adventitious position. I don't think this really is a COVID thing it is just a pure greed thing.  We need a graphics card Hero!  Bring us financially reasonable options to satisfy our gaming needs!  Pray to your digital gods for a savior maybe a miracle will come and bless our digital dreams.

 i dont want to get political but this question kind of leans that way anyway. you should actually expect prices to never go down again. prices for the most part are based on supply and demand in which if the demand is higher than the supply, prices go up and just the opposite too, if supply is higher than demand, prices go down. what makes this kind of political is that a loot of companies like EVGA are based in the US and people are very stupidly demanding a $15 minimum wage but not expecting or even thinking that this will cause all other prices to go up on everything.
