Second graphics card slot not working

Today I bought a EVGA 3070 FTW3 Ultra, and tried to put it in my current rig With my current 2060, however, when I put a graphics card in the bottom graphics card slot the system will not pass Bios. and when in bios, it only recongnizes one of my M.2 drives, my 1tb is in the upper m.2 slot, and the boot drive m.2 is in the bottom. It also did not recognize my HDD. and with just one graphics card in the bottom, it goes into a infinite boot.
Mobo : Gigabyte X570 Gaming X
GPU0 : EVGA Rtx 3070 ftw3 ultra

GPU1 : Zotac Rtx 2060

Also a 750w gold PSU, so I'm pretty sure I'm not limited by power

Bottom slot is only pci-e x4  (it's physically x16, but electrically x4 ), and it's connected to chipset.

There's no mention about the lanes being shared with the 2nd m.2 connector so both should work at the same time, but just for double checking, maybe you could disconnect the bottom m.2 ssd to see if the system will get into bios with 2nd video card installed.

I will try this tomorrow, But the bottom m.2 is my boot drive, and it also did not recognize my HDD when 2nd card is in

When I'm not playing games I mine on the side to make a couple bucks. and 2 gpus would definitely help the cash flow

Did you try the basic stuff? Update BIOS, drivers, Windwos?

Power limit wont matter forr turning the rig on. Power limit will show itself when putting the system under load.

FOLDING MONTH 2021! GOGOGO and save on some heating costs 🙂

Make sure to update the bios only whit the second GPU removed. You dont want an unstable system when fiddling with the bios 🙂

I've tried drivers, they both have the same drivers. However I have not tried BIOS, or doing anything in windows
