a case doesnt bang (or at least it shouldnt...). so if we're talking purely bang for the buck, the answer is "no case at all".

but realisticly, if you're trying to save a buck on a case, most stuff in the 60-70 bucks range is pretty decent, avoid anything with RGB fans or glass in that price range, and you'll end up with a fairly competent product most likely.

Cougar MX330 variants if under $40 are a steal

Fractal Design Focus G variants if under $45 are a steal (Ive paid $36 for ATX and $64 for mATX over last 2 months, prices fluctuate)

DIYPC cases that fit your components for $30 or under are decent buys.

string. with the components hanging in mid air. its only about $10 for a 100ft roll.

but seriously this has many answers depending on what style you want, size of components, max budget, space available, and a few others.

Criteria?

My favorite "cheap case" is the Cooler Master NR600

https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/cases/mid-tower/masterbox-nr600-without-odd/#specifications

https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-MasterBox-Ventilation-Tempered/dp/B07PJ18S78/

https://www.techpowerup.com/review/cooler-master-masterbox-nr600/

good airflow, good building experience, can fit most CPU coolers (166mm), huge GPUs (410mm), up to 360mm aio, glass side panel, can do pretty much whatever you want for a single system in there.

Best bang for your buck is going to vary where you are buying from and/or what currency. Cougar MMX330 is really one the cheapest ones I ever seen. Seems quite rare to see $40 CAD or less for something that has good airflow.

ya thats why i got it...but its a slim case meaning cpu tower cooler wont fit and can only do 120mm fans. imo i would spend a bit more to get a fattor case.  but this one dose have mesh front. they do sell an acrylic window, tempter glass or sold with a 120fan mount.

not only that i got another one with a sold side panel for cheaper thow trying to find a peace of acrylic to add a window in would probably cost more then just buy one with one.
