I've decided on the Gigabyte B450 Gaming X, it is ATX length however it is slightly thinner than ATX being only 235mm wide. Because of this there is an odd mounting point on the motherboard (Picture attached). Are there any cases that accommodate this style of mount or should I just drill and tap the space for a mounting point in an unused case I already have?
No, no need to drill any "custom" holes.
The 1st hole (top hole that you circled) is at standard location for all / most cases.
The second hole is for extra case compatibility.
You don't need to use both of those stand-off holes / locations.
