countdown to giveaway announcement

I think you were a bit early! Lol.

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us.

Such a beautiful rig, I love how you always pay attention to the finer details in your builds instead of just making them "photo pretty".

First up, sorry for taking so long to get back to everybody.  I've been really busy dealing with some family complications over the last week (oh Christmas I love you so) and so simply haven't had the time to manage things on here.  I'll be handling the giveaway tomorrow, I need to pull together a list and pick the winners still, the prizes are all packed up and ready to go :)

hmmm, i really should learn to take good pictures...

yours all look stunning IMO.

the colors of your latest pictures do look quite different.

is it in real life more comparable to the colors of your latest pictures, your previous ones, or somewhere in between?

*snip*

Thanks man, I've been working really hard to improve my photography over the last few months, glad to hear it's paying off somewhat.  Yeah the colours in the newer ones are much more accurate.  The old ones have this horrible, greenish tinge to them that simply isn't present in real life.  The yellows are also much warmer in real life than in the first set of photos, it's one of the main reasons why I was so happy with the coolant colour versus the clear yellow version.

Really nice job!
Soo. How does it work? Everythings running smooth? Does the PCI-e cable affects performance? (I've asked this before but you haven't tried it yet) And how long is it?
Thanks.

From what I've tried so far, it works very well indeed!  The 290 is quite a nippy card, haven't noticed any troubles from the riser either, it's the 500mm version.

If this isn't in the build logs of the month I don't know what everybody's voting on

this project was so worth the wait, happy to see it finally finished!

That was amazain

Sorry about that, I'll get on it right away.

just spent the last hour or so drooling through this build....OMG!!! I want!!!

Thank you, I never quite realised how long this log has become.  Feels like only yesterday when I started modeling the first few components.

Such a beautiful rig, I love how you always pay attention to the finer details in your builds instead of just making them "photo pretty".

Cheers Grrizz.  I've always thought that it makes sense to be thorough with these things.  After all, this rig's going to be on display constantly either in the house or at shows, as such I didn't want to compromise on areas that I could always just hide in the photos

In other news, Loramentum's now in the running for Mod of the Month over on OCN!  So if you enjoyed the build and have an account over there already, why not show the project a bit of love with a vote :)

http://www.overclock.net/t/1521949/ocn-mod-of-the-month-november-2014-sponsored-class-voting-now-live

It's going to be a really tense competition as the general build standard is so high, I could use every vote you can spare.  If the past few months are anything to go by, a single vote could make all the difference.

Finished Projects: Loramentum, VesperModerne, ExsectusAetos

Current Project: Parvum Argentum

Actually, I don't think you showed a picture of that computer in it's natural habitat. Does it have one outside of the chest?

Very nice either way.
