Posted December 15, 2020 I only build for myself or my SO (her mom being the exception). Anyone else can either learn or have fun being ripped off by Dell.
Posted December 15, 2020 If someone needs a PC get a pre-built. If they want a PC I would recommend they build it. i5 8600 - RX580 - Fractal Nano S - 1080p 144Hz

Posted December 16, 2020 -stares at piles of hardware- Nah, never built one As for recommending others to do it, I would first ask them one question, "do you want to?" And explain the aspects of maintenance, upgradability and difference in warranty if they're on the edge. -sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately
 Posted December 16, 2020 I highly recommend self diy-ing as well. That way you also learn about some basics of of computer parts like the mobo, cpu, ram, psu, bla bla bla as well as cable mangement. when you diy, you love your rig more too as there was effort put in to gather all the parts as well as to connecting everything to make it work. Posted December 16, 2020 Haven't built a pc yet, but I would recommend building one if they want to save some money.

I will build one asap when I get my gpu back from my friend, I lent it to him because I didn't need it (It was a gt710), He's trying to get a 3070 or a 3080, can't recall correctly
 Posted December 16, 2020 Recommending building a PC is a really dependent thing on the person. Most people don't know much about pcs and if they are not interested in them advice on parts to chose on a prebuiky can be better for everyone.
