I'd suggest spending another $30-40 on the mobo, a b550 msi mag bazooka would be good

depends what you do with it.

Overclocking? if yes, then get that board.

otherwise that board is perfectly fine

I would go with an air cooler because they have the same performance, they are cheaper, and less points of failure.  Also switch ram for 3600 cl16, maybe a b550 board. Case is fine, but personally I would get a meshify c ( I look the aesthetic more). Also some case fans if you can

-Get a B550. The B550 Pro4 would be much better. And if you need wifi, get the B550 PRO-VDH WIFI
-Get faster RAM. Any 3600mhz CL16 Kit will be much better than the one you have selected.
-Get a better case. I'd recommend a Corsair 4000D Airflow, or a p400A Digital.

i like the aio look more than air coolers. why upgrade the ram shouldn't 3200 be enough? All the other motherboards with wifi were too expensive

Q.O.L you're missing out on features, and going for a sub par board, when you have a mid-high end build, spend the extra money on a good MOBO and a 3200 CL15 kit of ram

Oh, also b450 won't support ryzen 5000 series until they get a bios update for it, may not be available until 2021.

What difference does the CL15 to 16. when i look for a better motherboard it is either too much for the budget or pc part picker says there is a compatibility issue

go for b550, it's always going to say there's a compatibility issue with 5th gen, because you have to update bios in order to use on, no matter what board.

Ryzen 5000 is very sensitive to ram speeds, CL 15 is faster, and you will get better performance out of your CPU if you get 3200 CL15

To update the bios will i need a cpu that is compatible with the motherboard before the bios update

not if their's a BIOS flash button, which most b550 boards have.

Turns out asrock has released beta bios's for 5000 series support on b450, as it is beta bios it won't come preinstalled, fortunately that asrock mobo has support for updating the bios without a supporting cpu. (Feature is Asrock Instant Flash if you want to look for how to do)

B550 mobos should be updated for 5000 series unless some old stock gets pulled off a shelf.

Just because AIO's look cool doesn't meant that you should have one. You are getting a 5600x, so an AIO for that is completely pointless. It's wasting money imo

Is there any cooler you would recommend because all the ones i see are like 10 to 20 dollars different which isn't that much

The cooler that comes with the 5600x is good enough, and if you want a Hyper 212 would work good aswell

Also if your set on using the P300A, then add an extra case fan.

Personal experience with a 3600x on stock cooler (5000 series has very similar power draw and thus thermal characteristics to 3000 series) without an undervolt temps get uncomfortably high and clocks end up 100-200mhz above base clock under sustained loads. One of the better price/performance $30-45 tower coolers may be a better option for better performance, or a large cooler/clc if you want maximum performance
