Did they improve the hinge on XPS 17

I always felt that the hinge of previous XPS 15 was too restrictive for the opening angle, did they improve the angle you can open the brand new XPS 17?

You can but it's not the easiest computer to open one handed.  On a desk while steady one handed is no problem, on you lap or whatever you won't be able to.

I'm not asking about how easy it is to open, I want to know if they improved the max angle at which it can go/open
