Ryzen 5600X Ram Help

Hello all,

I am looking to get recommendations for what ram I should buy. I am currently building a new system and planning on grabbing a new Ryzen 5600X as soon as possible. I have an Asus X570-E Rog Strix MOBO. This will be my first experience with AMD so I am not exactly familiar with ram overclocking, or how it all works with the ratio and timings and infinity fabric on the ryzen processors. I know it will be a guess at best until benchmarks, but what would you all get if looking? I would like to get a 4x8 32GB setup, however looking at that I am seeing up to $400 for an rgb set from g skill. This would probably be my max price I'd be willing to spend but I would like to spend less if I can get a better value say overclocking 3600 speed ram? I am just unsure how that would work or if that's possible. Thanks in advance!

what are you using this system for. for gaming 16 gigs of rm (2x8gb 3600-4000mhz) is plenty

for editing 32gigs/64gigs would be nice (2x16gb or 2x32gb)

ryzen finds it easier to run 2 sticks at the rated speed, rather than 4.

go for 2x16gb 3600C16. this shouldn't be more than $200.

Zen 3 is no different in memory department as Zen 2, 3600MHz is totally fine and.overclockable.

And aesthetics are expensive, especially when you combine Gskill and RGB

Yep I was about to post a question for this guy https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-32gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820232903?Description=F4-3600C16D-32GTRS'&cm_re=F4-3600C16D-32GTRS'-_-20-232-903-_-Product&quicklink=true

with a b550 vision D it is expensive

I do have a genuine question tho will this set work no problem with a 5900x/5800x and a vision D?

I dont see why it won't, the CPU and board can both handle that.

K thanks since you know ryzen has some compatability issues for no reason even tho the mobo and cpu say they support it the sticks don't work
