You said you have cable or fiber and your own router, so your isp shouldn't be doing any wifi for you, is that right?

What is the isp offering you exactly?

ac is 5ghz only. Its not a or with those 2 things.

I dont have fiber or cable.

Connection from ISP is that 5G or AC. I am using ethernet in my house and 2.4 AP for phones.

What speeds are they offering on the different plans?

Do you have a wired connection to your house from the isp?

ok. What speeds do they say they will offer for ac?

Id just get the one with the higher speeds/better plan. If you want reliable, no wireless connection is great, and really depends on exactly how its setup.

Ok. They offer on ac better prices than on 5G and Higher speeds than on 5G. So experience should be same?

should be, but you really can't tell that much from this info. Maybe ask people who are using their service already?

Reading thru this thread made my head hurt. OP how is your internet delivered to your home? (Fiber, coax, phone line, radio waves).

Because ALL Wireless AC devices are REQUIRED to support 5Ghz. So there is no way you can have a wireless AC router without 5Ghz. Is the 5G you referring to Cellular 5G? Does your internet come from a cellular providers?

Edit: OP did your ISP provide you any equipment? If so can we have model numbers?

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I am not an expert so sorry for miss comunication.

OK, please don't take it the wrong way. The way communication is going in this thread highlights the point that you're not understanding what persons are trying to explain to you. Kudos for asking; that's how we learn! But if you're going to withhold simple information that can help us clarify what is going on, this loop is going to continue and we would have failed in trying to help you. No one cares where you or anyone else lives and I'm quite sure no one here can track fellow users based on country alone (maybe save the moderators), but geography puts things into perspective. And your ISP's webpage might explain things better than you are trying to.

The confusion seems to be an understanding of the difference between a (W)WAN connection and a (W)LAN connection. The WAN side is how your ISP gets the connection to you (e.g. fiber, cable, DSL, WiFi, cellular data, etc). The LAN side is how you choose to distribute that connection to your personal devices. That can be over wired connections (e.g. ethernet) or WiFi (e.g. using the 2.4GHz and/or 5GHz frequencies). The 5G (meaning 5th generation) cellular data network is not the same as WiFi 5GHz (meaning 5 gigahertz); the latter of which is used by devices with 802.11n/ac/ax standards.

The reason we're asking so many questions is because there's no need to pay your ISP to use AC-WiFi because you can do that yourself by purchasing your own wireless router/AP. Think of it like this: if you paid for HD cable TV from your cable TV provider, but only had a SD TV, would you go to them to ask them to upgrade your TV? No, you'd just buy your own HD/4K TV and hook it up to the existing subscription line.
