As the title says, why doesn't it matter to you? Seriously, you don't have a window or look inside your computer?

Not everyone has a window, not everyone gives a shit. I don't have a window but I still care. It's just personal preference for each individual.

Sometimes people just want it to perform. Making it visually appear nice takes time and extra money.

 

Personally I find that if you're going through the effort to build a PC and spend a lot of $$ on it, you might as well try to make it look appealing.

If you can see inside, you care.

If you can't see inside or it's prebuilt, you don't care. 

That's the norm.

I'm not very good at cable management, so I just bought a non-windowed R4 and didn't bother making it look nice in there. I do, however, have most of the cables behind the motherboard tray, just not all of them.

I can't even work on my PC without ensuring that the temperature is optimal or more so starring at it so I can be amused by mankind's creations.

Some users don't have cases with windowed side panels, some just want their PC to run and not care about its aesthetics.

 

My cases don't have windowed side panels, so I don't really care.
