so I would say it's pretty obvious he was trying to steal the copyright from Sony

Trademark, not copyright. It's a very important distinction.

Hand, n. A singular instrument worn at the end of the human arm and commonly thrust into somebody’s pocket.

brb going to trademark geforce rtx 4080

It’s probably already been done.  Amazon was called Amazon simply because they were looking for a name, any name, that hadn’t been trademarked.  They failed anyway.  There was a tiny bookstore in minneapolis called Amazon books that had been around since well befor Amazon was founded.  They wound up buying it for a princely sum when the owner retired.  Owner probably could have asked for a lot more, but she didnt.  I don’t think that will happen here.  The impression I got was the person who trademarked PS5 did it specifically to catch Sony with.  He apparently trademarked a whole bunch of similar terms too hoping to catch them.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
