Both would be perfectly adequate for the build.

Are you upgrading your PSU, or buying all these parts new, out of curiousity?

Both will be okay.

TXM is semi modular so the 24pins cannot be removed.

Personally i prefer the semi modular as the 24 pin will always be connected.

But if you wanna use a custom longer cables, then the full modular is better.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

If you want to shave some more get the non mudular version like the CX650.

650w is enough even for 3080.

Ah alright, I only asked because I hoped you weren't going to purchase these parts new, but it makes sense to get a new PSU after an RMA.

yep, 100% sure.

The way I typically calculate the needed PSU wattage is by taking the power a CPU needs at most + power a GPU needs at most + 100W.

The power needed from reviews of course.

For your system that is: 170W + 190W + 100W = 460W.

So a good 500W PSU would work even.

The TX650 and RM650 are both very good PSU's and thus would work very well with the system.

Main difference for most people will be the full vs. partial modularity.

In the website of asus its written 500W recomended + 100W for the cpu,r u sure 650 is fine at full load?

GPU power use source: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gigabyte-gtx-1070-ti-gaming-8g,5338-4.html

Again, I used this formula:

500W + 100W would be 600W, so 650W would be more than enough in that case.

But I always take manufacturer recommendations with a grain of salt and do some further research in any case.
