when will next gen gpu come out?

dfsgsfa

after rtx3000 and big navi I mean,

both company launching new gpu at same quarter this yr, meaning there should be a big winner.

so most customer may have upgraded this time and wont come back to gpu market in yrs

anyway, do you think the loser gpu company will release a new series of cards shortly to counter play?

if so , how long shall we wait?

Have you googled yet? They are announcing the new cards late October according to their twitter.

Behind? Sure. Losers? Hardly. Do you know how well the RX 5000 series sold? AMD will be winners either way, and Nvidia have the market share to stay on top in that regard.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

If big navi actually brings something to the table, i'd expect something else from nvidia in the next 6 months. But otherwise this should be it, for the next 2 years at least on the top end everything should be on the table at the end of the year.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Obviously there will be "gap filler" GPUs.

I edit my posts more often than not

yeah but a refresh isn't a new gen. like at all.

to OP: I'd say realistically 2-4 years (something something mid console cycle)

I wouldn't discount a big boost but if your talking complete refresh it will probably be 2-3 years minimum.

I agree about a possible boost, but new gen means new architecture to me (and something like 5nm process) which will obviously be a couple of years away
