amd is far better performance per dollar, has gen 4 pci, more cores for workloads. intel is still better for gaming because of single core performance though.

"it depends" would be the best answer

too many area to cover, so if you wanna know a specific thing, that would help narrow it down

 

ie, for gaming, what cpu makes most sense

I can agree with this

so in that case i will reformulate the question

Instead of "why so many people are praising AMD over Intel" i want to know:

Are there really more people on this forum that need more cores (and pcie gen4) then a better single core performance?

I really mean in all applications

Gaming , workloads

but also in desktop, Laptop (Mobile) and Server

or like how Intel has NUC but AMD doesn't (as far as i know) have anything similar

+ the future of both

That's still a bad question, like e.g. you're completely ignoring the fact that AMD is cheaper for almost the same performance, making their CPUs more appealing for people without infinitely-deep pockets.
