I ran it and got this :

So I assume the 3.5 GB/sec advertised is the 3.495 I got, and the 3000 advertised is the 2727 ?

I guess its close enough

Yup those numbers look fine. You won't get exactly the listed numbers, esp as its a boot drive, and not empty, but thats about as good as you can get.

The random numbers look fine, and those matter much more.

Hi guys, I own the samsung 970 plus 1TB PCIE SSD 4x

I saw on specs that it should read/write around 3000 mb/sec.

I ran a test with userbenchmark to make sure it's running full speed 4X PCIE (it's connected to z490-A m.2 pcie 4x slot)

From the results its says it's peak is 2000 mb/sec

Does this means it's not working as intended ? Is there better benchmark I can test ? What should be my results ?

See results below :

Use CrystalDiskMark if you want accurate results.

I will. Do you know what this SSD should score in CystalDiskMark benchmark ?

I will post my result in a moment.

Have you look at the many reviews of the drive out there? There should be lots of other tests people have ran.

But it seems to be running at expected speeds. Those numbers you see on the spec sheets are in specific workloads and not garanteed.

I will run the crystal mark test and compare. Will report back !
