Did anyone get to see the RTX 3080 on Newegg?

Does anyone know if the Asus ROG Strix was even available on Newegg I literally couldn't even load the site. I loaded for like 2 seconds and saw the TUF edition available before it crashed again. I have no regrets on ordering my card last night when it became momentarily available even though I really wanted that Asus ROG Strix because there was no chance of getting any card let alone that one.

Yeah the payment went through and I talked with a rep who confirmed the order went through and I got overnight shipping so it will arrive today.

All I got to say is I'm really doubting anyone getting the FE at this point because if Newegg got hit that hard I can only imagine how many more people are holding out for the FE trying to get 1.

Yeah I loaded in once and saw a few cards available scrolled down and saw Asus TUF available and ROG Strix unavailable then the site crashed.

If I was smart and not greedy I would just not even use the card and sell it for a lot of money. I paid 829.73 total I could probably get 1200 for it.  xD

EVGA limit to one per household, annnnnnd... its gone too.

IDK for what one per household mean in their term, but there is a limit. It didnt stop them bots.

I doubt it will be any different tbh I don't think they will have a good supply for these cards till sometime in 2021 until then it's going to be a blood bath trying to get it when it restocks.

Fortunately I'm not a gamer (Hell, I'm not a gamer in general) that needs the latest and greatest so I'm saving a ton by not buying into the hype

I have no idea if they put a limit on purchases but I would think with how limited stock they had they made it limited 1 per customer.

I never could get the page to load after I refreshed near the time to purchase. All other website would load but they went immediately to sold out without ever seeing an option to purchase. The only place to find them is on ebay for $1200+. I almost feel like we were duped and they were always going to end up on ebay to start with for double the price.

That's honestly what I would do if I didn't get my card. I was planning on buying a RTX 2080 Ti anyways so I probably would wait for the 3090 at the correct price.

as long as you aint buying 50 damn cards for the sole purpose of making money off of them (mining or scalping) youre good in my book. id honestly encourage you to resell it, no game realistically uses that much power aside from 4k raytracing

Yeah the site got extremely overloaded so only the people who were lucky enough to see it for a brief moment and click add to cart was able to get 1 because the cart and recent purchases seemed to function a lot better probably not many people going to that exact address. I'm sure they saw this coming and that's why some cards were popping up available for brief moments throughout the night. Probably reps making it available for brief moments trying to get their friend to purchase 1 or something xD
