I'd have to guess Newegg is either taking email notifications to see what demand there is or the few they had went out of stock instantly lol.

Yeah they've made it available a few times since last night then it went out of stock again.

Probably aesthetics, it's why my buddy's are after them.  It's a pretty good look.

It's alright but I'm not a fan of only 2 fans and no RGB it wouldn't fit my rig.

It's already cooling better and quieter than the AIB coolers on the 2080TIs, (despite being a 70W higher power draw card) and that's essentially what the coolers are for the 3080 AIB cards... Repurposed 2080TI coolers.

You need to compare the cooling on the 3080 FE vs 3080 AIB, not the 2080Ti.

Well I'm upgrading from a 2070 FE that runs pretty cool in my case so I think I will be fine.

Yes, but considering they are reusing their existing coolers, it's not likely they will have a radically different cooling profile.

The design of the cooling solution in the Founders Edition is better and more efficient so it's much better than traditional 2 fans designs,

It can be even better than 3 fans.

I haven't seen any reviewers provide noise level samples of the FE cards, but I'd rather have 3 larger fans over a 2 fan with one of them sorta being a blower card, and I'd rather not have to switch to an AIO cause all that hot GPU air being directed at air cooler can't be great for CPU temps.

This and I wasn't a fan of the PSU adapter it looks ugly.
