Buying a new CPU soon, should I wait?

I already own a ryzen 5 1600, and I plan to stream, my thing is, I already own a seconadry PC for stremaing, so I strictly only care about gaming performance. My R5 1600 is starting to show it's age, As I mainly speedrun older games, I'm not sure if I should wait for 4th gen. What do you all think? I think wait, or get a ryzen 5 3600.  I have an x470 board, so I feel like waiting might be the best move though..,

CPU: Intel Core i7-9750H

RAM: 8GB DDR4

Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 1660 TI

 

Secondary PC:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690k

RAM: 24GB G.Skill Ripjaws X RAM

CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO

Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Hero

Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 1060 3GB

PSU: Generic Azza 500W Power Supply (It's probably about to blow up)

Case: InWin 805 Infinity (never buy this case)

if possible, wait for zen 3 to actually come out and check what it has to offer first.

and x470 can support zen 3 with a beta bios, it's down to the vendor though if they want to release one for that board.

For sure I recommend to wait for a ryzen 4000. Older games use a lot less cores so the boost in single core performance will matter a lot.
