So I've just come across www.humblebundle.com and it seems amazing.

It seems the concept is that you can get access to a "bundle"  of digital content (productivity software/games/books/music) in exchange for a one-time donation to charity of an amount of your choosing.

Am I missing something here? Because it seems to good to be true.

Thanks for reading all this by the way!

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

it's legit.

i belive they make arrangements with the developers when they sell the keys

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.

They've been doing it for a while, and I think they're responsible for many people like me having a Steam game list that is insanely long, with the majority of games on it not even started once.

When it comes to productivity software, usually the version they offer is behind current. The software developers will then try to persuade you to upgrade to their current version.

No catch, Humble Bundle works together with game developers to support different sort of charities.

It's an all-together win for really anyone in the chain. The Humble Bundle, Game dev/producer and charity get money and exposure (the latter of which may drive more sales/donations, which is of course their main goal in the end) and the gamer get some good games/books for a good price.

The last time I bought a Humble Bundle has been a good while ago, but if I see a good bundle, I would jump right to it.

Humble Bundle is a trusted website, you should definitely consider using.

The catch would be that you don't get to choose what you get. Its bunch of stuff you might not want in order to get that one software/game. Usually still worth it as the price is lower than single piece.
