Basically put all the games you want into your wishlist and you will get emailed when they go on special, easiest way to do it, or you can do it manually.

I love the summer sale. It's one of the times I really buy any games on Steam. (Also partially because I really only have money during the summer..)

I bought like 15+ games the last sale.

only buy things that are deal of the day, flash sales, community choice sales kr 75 pevcent off or more. games in the flash sale repeat pretty often and not always at the same price. expect half the games you buy to be games you never heard of but bought because they were just so damn cheap.

Not me. I only buy games if they look good to me and they're cheap. I basically never buy any games at full price. (EVER.)

I first joined Steam because of one reason: Portal 1 was free for a limited time. Before that I had no reason to join Steam. (Over 2 years ago.)

Will any of the big games like AC, or Cod be on sale ?

AC will be, CoD probably not since they do not care about PC.

They do for old one, but newly released it won't be reduced that much. Probably 15% at most.

CoD usually does go on sale, but the discount is so weak it rarely seems worth. MW1 is still the only modern military shooter COD I've seen to hit the $10 mark on sale... >_<

Sadly this is indeed true.

Most of the games I buy now are on summer sale, but not on front page due to this

Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof.

As I get older I get angrier more cynical, meaner. I feel some warning posts coming. I feel a ban coming. I was warned.

Well, my Steam wishlist is empty. All the games I felt were worth buying, I already own. Besides, there are sales all year round on PC games. You can get steam keys or origin keys for games at 75-80% off on amazon, greenmangaming.com, dealzon.com, etc. I mean, even humblebundle has older AAA games for pennies from time to time.

When you're a PC gamer, it's Christmas every month.

I saved over like 500 dollars+ plus on the steam winter sale, I spent 200 (all of my XMas Money) on games and I saved 200 hundred something.

Dont believe me? Check my steam gauge. http://mysteamgauge.com/account?username=mrsnapatya

Just add up the original cost of everygame and then subtract it by 200 to show how much I saved.

I actually don't buy games on release and wait until they go on sale on steam.

Your first sale will be an overwhelming experience. You should have a financial advisor help you through the situation as it is easy to throw all your money at our lord and savior gabe newell.
