Have I been Shortchanged

I recently ordered a custom built rig and I specifically chose for 16GB 3600 MHz RAM but when I checked my CPU today, It only showed 2666MHz. So I am currently wondering if I have been shortchanged and I would love to hear your opinions! Thanks guys!

What motherboard are you using?

That's only the speed that the RAM is running at currently. Use e.g. CPU-Z or Hwinfo64 to check what the actual specs of the RAM-sticks are.

You shoud also check if XMP is activated and if not activate it

^ This is the problem most likely. Just enable XMP.

The motherboard supports running the memory at up to 2933Mhz, you can use XMP to make it run at this speed.

Well then since B460 chipset doesnt allow memory overclocking, your down to whatever the CPU natively supports. I7 and i9 gets 2933, but i5 gets 2666 for example
